Addicted

Ok - so if you have never played Settlers of Catan you are missing out. Andrew and I were first introduced to this game by my sister and her husband who lived in Indiana at the time. When they told us about this game, my first thought was that it would be a game that "hicks" would like. I have to tell you. . . we are totally addicted!! The more you play, the more you want to play. When you are done playing, you think about your strategy for the next game. Thinking about your strategy never really helps because the game changes every single time you play it! Even my dad told us that after playing he lays in his bed and thinks about how to play the game better or differently, and for those of you who know my dad thinking about a strategy for a board game has never really been in the forefront of his mind! Anyway, there may be some of you out there who just prefer to watch (J and Cheryl - HAHAHA), but I am telling you the more you play the more you will want to play! Another reason I love to play so much is because it gives me another reason to hang out with our families. Andrews mom isn't really a gamer, but I figure out ways to manipulate her into playing and then she does enjoy playing! So for those of you who have never played I challenge you to find someone who owns the game and just try it!! I promise you will love it! Don't just sit back and watch!
