Our Michigan Trip

So we had a great time in Michigan visiting the Crisp family! It was really hard to say goodbye and come back to real life especially because Garrett kept crying saying, " I want to come with you". The kids are getting so big. . . see for yourself. . .
Here is Esther doing her little scrunch face that is so cute! She is crawling here, but she really can walk at 10 months! She is too cute! Andrew really loved Esther - he would be the one to get her out of her crib after her nap and he was always holding her! It was so cute . . . I think the more he was around Esther Bean the more he could not wait for Avery to be here!

Here is Garrett and Andrew! Garrett is one tough kid!! Look at that face. . .doesn't he look like he could "take" anyone. He beat up Andrew a couple of times while we were there! The best thing about Garrett is that he goes from Jumping off tables and running around the house like a maniac to cuddling up my lap, playing with my hair. He is the most lovable kid! He kept asking to see my belly and wanted to hear Avery's heatbeat on the little fetal monitor! It was so cute! I hope that my sister has a boy because I think that Garrett needs to have a brother to (as Andrew says) tussle around with!
Here is Olivia and I! She is getting so big! She will be 4 in December. . . I can't believe it! I keep telling her that she is not allowed to turn 4! Before we went to Michigan I went out and got her some new clothes and I could buy them in the big girls section. She is no longer a toddler. . .she is a big girl! She is so creative and VERY task oriented. . . she is definately the OLDEST child, but Garrett gives her a run for her money! They all really do love each other and it was such a blessing to be able to spend time with them!
Josh, Jess, Andrew and I spent our nights playing "Knights and Cities", the expansion pack for Settlers of Catan! The game is awesome and it caused some really tense, not so enjoyable nights, but in the end we all had a great time. Josh normally hates to play games, but he dominated Knights. The trip was really wonderful and Andrew and I cannot wait until the entire family is together in January for Corrie and Josh's wedding. Maybe then J and Cheryl will watch us all play Settlers and Knights. . . That would be really fun!! Anyway, here is our goodbye picture from Michigan. Josh kept joking that this would be Andrew and I in just a few years. Andrew was adament that that would not be us! Well, in just 10 weeks we will have one of our own! The count down is on!!
